Hi all, I am new here to the forum, but I have been reading many of the posts and I am so happy that I found you all, now I don't feel so alone in this battle with MC !! I have alot of questions, but I want to read some more of the discussions before I bombard everyone with my list of ????????? ( you all will get sick of me )...lol
Its nice to be here, and I look forward to knowing each of you !!
Go ahead and ask away! We have been in your shoes and we love to help! There are no dumb or silly or too-gross questions. Where poop is concerned, we have heard it all!
Love,

Thank you Polly, Rosie, Joe and Ginny for the nice, understanding and warm welcome...tons of info in this forum, which I really appreciate due to being mis-diagnosed and totally confused for so long while living with collagenous colitis and at times being in severe pain....as I read the topics and posts here I am slowly learning things I didnt know, and gaining info on issues I had never even thought of before. Thanks again for having me....
Reading the posts is a great way to get many of your questions answered. If any new ones come to mind while you're reading, feel free to ask. We are here to help you.

You never know what you can do until you have to do it.
It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
Finding this site can cause mixed emotions, relief that you have found people with the same condition and then some overwhelmness as you read through and absorb all the information and how it relates to you!
Hopefully as you do some reading and get some clarity you feel empowered and be ready to make sure that MC does not take over your life!
have a great week - take care

Thanks so much to everyone for being so welcoming, and also willing to answer any questions I have ( no matter how yucky or silly they might be...lol )
Everyone seems to be so understanding, and I already feel right at home...
I have been very confused about my illness, and it is so encouraging to meet ppl generous enough with their time to share with me, and offer me help based on their own experiences and knowledge...I admit I am a bit overwhelmed at this time with my issue...so thank each of you for your warmth and kindness...I now feel there is hope for me yet !!

I'm fairly new here as well. I was just overwhelmed with the information
that was available here that I spent hours and hours of reading and trying
to absorb it all. I love what Polly wrote:

Everyone here is so wonderful and Tex is just the best!!!!
You can read my story back a few weeks at "New Here and Overwhelmed"
I did the Enterolab testing and just got my results back last week
when I was on vacation. You can find them posted on the Test Results page.
I've been on Entocort for almost two months and with a strict diet as well, but
I'm still having D up to 8+ a day. Better, but not where I would love to be.
