She's a Borzoi (Russian Wolfhound). She looks a bit scroungy in this photo because she was shedding her puppy coat and not groomed.
She was 2 in April and we've had her just over a year. Brag warning. She passed Beginner's obedience and Novice I. She earned her CGC (Canine Good Citizenship). She is training to be a therapy dog.....
She was not well socialized as a pup because of severe illness in her breeder's family. She also was picked on by her dominant sister, Sweet Pea (not). She's a bit fearful of strange situations......
When I sent the smiling photo to my DDs, each said she looked like she was snarling!
I can't get a good photo from Picasa.
