We had many dances at the American Legion Post--which Louie and other members ran---some for special holidays and the rest just for the fun of getting together---
Also we had Friday night dinners--Nooooooo I didnt cook-
--the men did!!! (heck they some good cookers) and Mr. Louie got a gold plack as Legionnaire of the year --1976Also any of the older kids that wanted to serve the dinners did so and the peoples at the table would give them a nice TIP--They had a ball----
---and I am sure this will crack U -nd anyone who reads this post-
As I said (only at our dancers) after I had a few I could shape my body into the letters of M I C K E Y M O U S E-as they all sang that MM song--
--First time my best friend--Noreen--almost choked on her drink
and I did have a little trouble with the letter S--We had a great American Legion Hall --heard all the dreaded storied from the WW2 invasions
They were good times to remember--good clean fun--and lottsa laughing~
So, if U can contour your body to MM maybe we can become a couple of *nuts having fun*
Gabes--it is so good to remember those good fun get-togethers--
As the older GI's passed away--a younger group of their families took over but its just a bar and grill to step in and have a drink--
I am so glad that I hadthese funny things happen to remember!!
