Tryptase Results
I just found out my tryptase test came back negative. Not that I was worried, but it is nice to know the result. I just wanted to share the good news with someone.
RLW,
That's good news, but . . . . it doesn't rule out mast cell problems. Many of us have normal tryptase. It's one of those things that has to be checked at the exact right time to show an elevation. But the very good news is things are not pointing in the direction of systemic disease, which usually shows an elevation.

Oh, I know I still have mast cell problems. But, it is nice to know that I probably do not have SM. I realize that my natural tendency will be to use this result to try to convince myself that I don’t need to change my diet. I know better, but it will be a struggle to fight that tendency. I appreciate the support!
