Been trying to get pregnant
Was wondering if its still a good idea to try to get pregnant, feeling the way that I am. Any ideas?

Why not? There have been other people on our forum before who have been pregnant and handled it quite well.
When I got this disease many years ago, my firm belief was that I was not going to let the disease control my life and I would control it. Been very hard at times but I have continued to work every day and manage along with heart disease, etc. If you try to put your life on hold for it, IT WINS AND NOT YOU.
Just food for thought.

Hi Lisa,
Great advice there from Maggie. Also, I recall at least one member here (CAMary) who was pregnant with MC. I may be remembering incorrectly, but I don't think she had any issues; in fact, I think she did really well. I think she used asacol and GF diet to put her MC in remission. Anyway, she pops in occasionally, but I'm sure she would be happy to discuss further with you if you send her a PM (personal message) here on the Board.
Love,
Polly

Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused.
