To my PP family, Merry Christmas and thanks so much for all of your help and support this year.
To say the least it has been an interesting year with the diagnosis of MC and Crohn's. I am grateful that when I needed it the most, I found this amazing website and absolutely wonderful group of caring and knowledgeable people.
I can certainly say this is not a journey I would take voluntarily, but I cannot think of another group of people that I would want to share this time with.
Thanks to all here for you kind support and patience, it has made all the difference during this difficult time. I cannot imagine dealing with MC without the knowledge of how important it is to address the diet first.
On the upside I am learning how to cook.... Lets just hope my kitchen will survive.
Merry Christmas & Thanks
.
I should extend a very special thanks to Tex for all his hard work, dedication to the PP website development and his encyclopedic knowledge.
Tex thanks for giving us a place we can call home.

PS: Mary Beth I will have a post and the pictures of our lunch meeting put together this weekend.
You are all awesome, and I look forward to many more discussions, laughter, and commiserations in the new year. Maybe 2011 will be the year that the medical community gets a clue about MC. We can always hope.............
Love,
Polly
Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused.
Thanks for the kind words, but remember that this site would be empty and worthless, were it not for the kindness and generosity of yourself and all others who are willing to come here to share their time, knowledge, experience, insight, and support. We are truly blessed.
Love,
Tex
It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
Time has shown how valuable this community continues to be. I offer my humble thanks to everyone in this forum for the help and emotional support you've given me and the person I'm helping.
Joe, too late for my reply to wish you a merry christmas too, I hope you had a good time with family and friends. I want to thank you for your support you have been giving over the year to me and all the other members of the Potty People Family. It must be even harder for you dealing with your disease, since you don't have one but two IBD's (as if one is not enough to deal with ). I have great respect for you how you (almost) always stay positive and your dignity how you deal with everything. Especially when you found out, you also had crohn and entocort and diet wasn't enough to get it under control. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us and the great support on this board.
Thanks for all the kind notes Granny, Jan, Polly Tex, Wonderwoman, Celie, Harma & Roger.
Certainly it has been a year of changes and personal growth. Its amazing how things like this in life can bring out the best in ourselves and others. This has been a great website an incredible resource and of course a great group of people.
