Amen to that! My 15 year old cat eats canned cat food, but also eats "people" tuna, chicken, turkey, kosher hot dogs, eggs, etc. Whenever I am at a "dollar" store, I stock up on tuna, canned chicken and whatever other food I can find for her.
At fifteen, she can still jump to the top of the fridge, so I think she's doing okay.
