This would be awesome if my doctor thought I had an autoimmune disease.
Yup, my doctor wasn't pleased at all that a patient would come in with printed research studies. Personally, I'm done with this woman. I've located another GI in town. I'll tread lightly, but I wish there was something like this for (at least) Crohn's disease if not IBD or MC. I did bring in the research study by Dr. Jill Smith (?) but she was unimpressed and felt that this medication was like Suboxone, which is a medication similar to Methadone where a patient has to be weaned off of it. It was then that I started to feel like an addict trying to score from a GI doc.How does your doctor feel about patients who do medical research on the internet?
Some doctors think it’s great. Others are infuriated by it. If your doctor disapproves
of it, tread very softly.
