Silver Spring Chipotle Mustard

Post by starfire »

I purchased a jar of this mustard about a month ago and just got around to trying it a couple of days ago.

Seemed to have no effect on my stools.

I thought it was really good tasting

Here are the ingredients.

distilled vinegar
water
mustard seed
sugar
chipotle peppers
salt
dehydrated red and green bell peppers
dehydrated horseradish
citric acid
oleoresin paprika
spices
potassium sorbate and sodium benzoate (preservatives)

I realize "spices" might be suspect but does anyone see anything else that might be undesirable?

Shirley--

Nothing jumps out at me. I know I do well with the imported whole-grain mustard from France that is made very simply. As long as the peppers don't bother you (they would me) I'd go ahead!
