I just thought I'd share the title and information about this book. When I was in the ER yesterday, the nurse there said her husband goes to this doctor in Boston and that he is wonderful. He attributes most digestive issues to the diet, which is sort of unusual. I haven't read the book, I just came across it while doing research. She said she doesn't think he is taking on any new patients and they got in as a favor from another GI doctor.

Nancy,
Dr. Greeneberger is affiliated with The Mastocytosis Society. He is the GI I consulted with initially about mastocytic enterocolitis (mast cell activation) and he was a very nice and helpful man. But I have to respectfully disagree with him on some points though because like all other books on IBS etc he uses a one size fits all approach. I think we have clearly demonstrated here that people have individual sensitivities that affect their GI tract. I think this forum is leaps and bounds ahead of the medical community.

Nancy,
I wouldn't hesitate to see Dr. Greenberger - he will not miss a mast cell issue if there is one, and I think that is very important I think he is excellent and he would be my GI if I lived there. But where diet is concerned the vast majority of GIs are not up to speed.
