Well folks the flat earth folks had it all wrong... The earth is round after all. After a little research I figured out that the opposite of the earth from my house is about an hours drive from Gabes. After a white knuckle drive with Gabes (she has aspirations of being a rally car driver) we arrived and I was able to get a photo very close top the actual spot.

At the opposite side of the earth.... I think I need a shovel to get home
Can't believe you figured that out Joe - you must be a genius . How awesome it must have felt to be standing in that exact spot!!!!! Thanks again for letting us share in your adventures - it's an enormous treat - and to see the two of you in the pictures tops it all ......
Lots of love to both of you - wishing you a continued fun time,
Kari
P.S. How did Thursday night's restaurant dinner turn out ?

How fun! Please send more pictures and keep us posted, especially about your winery tours! Are you guys going after any Shiraz? Some of the world's oldest vines are down there... I really am excited for you!
I'll have to show this to my engineer grandson, I'm sure he'll get a kick out of it. And, look at you in short sleeves, I'm wearing fleece today here in New England.
It looks like you and Gabes are having a great time. Keep up the good work and just keep having lots of fun!!
Yep, without even doing any calculations, I can tell that you're on the opposite side of the world, 'cause the steering wheel is on the wrong side of the vehicle. That alone would be sufficient to turn my knuckles white.
Speaking of Gabes being an "aggressive" driver, are kangaroos as big a road hazard in Australia as deer are here in Texas?

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
Thanks so much for sharing. It looks beautiful there.
What is the antenna on the front of Rianna for? Is that a race car accessory?
Wishing you both all the best.

Great Pictures, so wonderful so Joe and Gabes, it's almost like we are there too.
And again, Joe you are so blessed having already having your first and such a great friend overthere. That makes things so much easier, going abroad and having at least one friend (I know what I am talking about).
