Naw, over here, people are still watching reruns of the wedding, and besides, it would be politically incorrect in this country, to view news about, or to talk about, anything that might shed a negative light on electric powered cars. They're the darling of the "green people", (just like ethanol used to be, until it inevitably started causing double-digit food price inflation in lock-step with oil prices).

Eventually, they will discover that electricity isn't free after all, and that it's closely associated with oil prices, and, in fact, requires the consumption of hydrocarbon fuels in it's production, but that won't happen until after the promoters make millions/billions out of the idea, as is always the case.

Naty
i am totally envious...... to be able to be that close to Richard "Hamster" Hammond *sigh* would be a dream

i have been a top gear fan for years, a couple of years ago a heap of work mates gave me a gift of a subscription to the top gear mag, so my calendar in my home office is a top gear one

while joe was here, a couple of times he did mumble something about me driving like the stig, as we drove windy hills, with him gripping the 'oh jesus' bar on the passenger seat!

Gabes I'm pretty sure you've got the Stig beat.... I didnt know a car could pull those G forces

Now we have to see you drive the Top Gear track in their "reasonably priced car"

Joe
Joe maybe Gabes is the New Stig!

Speaking of top gear, where Hamster crashed in 2006 is about 3 miles away from where I live in York, and I have been there to drive supercars!

Katy I think I have photographic evidence that Gabes IS the Stig... It has taken months of research, but the hard work is paying off...

First look at this simple nice picture of Gabes in her Toyota Rav 4 taken just a couple of weeks ago

Image

Now here is the Stig.... I believe I see the likeness and am just recovering from the ride through the mountains at warp speed

I'll let you draw your own conclusions... but I think Gabes is 'The Stig'...

You have facebook?

I would add you all, but my friends and I have slightly odd conversations sometimes which freak people out!
