The power of love

Post by annie oakley »

Night before last My arthritis in my left knee was so bad that When I came home from work, I layed on the couch aternating heat and Ice crying the whole tome    I had two Loritab 7.5 on board, My Minnie pin Buck laying on the floor next to me and my Chahuahua jasmine laying on my chest licking my face and tears, Buck was licking my arm and hand :pulsinghearts: That night when I went to bed I was able to sleep. They both stayed real close all night/ Power of Love :flyingdoveleft: :butterfly67:

Our canine friends give so much and ask little in return.

The power of love no matter what the source is amazing... Sometimes is just a matter of accepting it.

Yeah I have a lovely 4 year old friend who is very good about teaching things like how to live in the moment and how to be a good companion.

Meet Nestle. aka 'Nurse Neslte'

What sweetness all around! Our dog is a rescue, still wildly excitable and variable with impulse control (he was an angel today with a friend's 8th-grader who was locked out, and did her homework here - but yesterday... whack job). Still, when MC first resurfaced for me in March, he was like a giant heating pad of cuddly closeness.

Also - the same cat who was my mother's constant companion during her brief time with us in this house... she's my night-time companion and guardian. Every once in a while, she has to stare the dog down ;)

Joe, Nestle is saying "east/west, down-under's best!"

xox to all,
S

Oma - even though I don't "know" you, since I joined the PP family after you went on your 'sabbatical' :), I believe I've seen your picture on some of your old posts. Anyhow, glad you're back and wanted to chime in on your lovely 'love note'. My 2 cats are sooooo incredibly comforting - they seem to know exactly when I need them, and come to cuddle up and purrrrrrr.

Joe - that picture of the Nurse is priceless, along with the caption - LOL. I like your observation that love in any form is very powerful - couldn't agree more.

Love,
Kari
