Milk options

Post by jmayk8 »

So I have been drinking Almond milk which i really like but just found out I can't have it anymore. I just had some food allergy tests done and it looks like I have to stay away from sunflower oil and that is what is in my almond milk...I have heard that rice milk contains some gluten? Is this true? Does anyone know of any other options for me? I am able to have soy but prefer to stay away from it.
Thanks Jenny

Why not make your own almond or rice milk? They're cheaper, simple and tasty, and don't have any of the additives that the purchased ones have.

Here are recipes for each:

So Delicious Coconut milk. Me and my kids love it. Good fats too, so it's more nutritious than rice milk. I plan to make my own soon with coconut cream.
