Do sad days ever cease---I guess not till our very end

Post by barbaranoela »

today started out as a fun one until we came home to get a phone call telling us that our friend Red Rose and his wife Doris lost their son Chris--he had been in a very bad car accident--a few years back but appeared to recoup well enuf to be on his own---well guess that wasnt the case cus Red and Doris found him dead in his house--if U all remember last year they lost their daughter who fell down the stairs and broke her back due to guzzleing booze ---I cant imagine what Red and Doris are going thru~~~~~

and the beginning of our fun day was taking Kait and Kris on another shopping expedition --to Kohls---cus Kris hadnt joined us on our family xpedition to Colorado due to working----so she missed out on *gramps* shopping treat---soooooooooo off to Kohls again- -walking around I bumped into KAIT--who got her treats in Colorado--carrying a package which contained a bag--say I-Kait gramps would have treated U to the bag and she looked at me saying--Gramps treated me enuf--I have some money and I decided to buy the bag by myself--I hugged her and said U are someone to be proud of--she hugged me back with a few tears snuggled in her eyes--
Of course gramps took the bag and told Kait when I am taking U guys shopping I pay --when U go alone U pay!!!

Other than that--- we did have a fun day with the girls---ate lunch out and brought something home for Lynn to eat after she finishes working--

now to get ready to try and compose ourselves when we see Red and Doris--

thanks for listening

everything is involved in life---laughing--smiling--happiness--getting ticked off---hoping--wishing--anger and aching hearts--and confusion as to *why*

I'm so sorry for Red and Doris's loss. I can't even imagine the pain of losing a child, much less two in such a short time.

Love,

Morning Barbara,

I agree that it probably never ceases until we do. Have been going through a bit of loss in our neighborhood but to be expected since we are all seniors. The UK family is in upheaval and trying heavily on Frank & I. Jay is no better than last year and I think everything is coming to an end over there.

Red and Doris are in my prayers. Such a sad loss for them.

Love, Maggie

I agree that there will always be sorrows. That makes it even more important to remember the happy times.

Dear Barabara,

I pray for Red and Doris and all of you..

I think Shirley is right. Every day we can feel some happiness, some friendship, some love, some act of kindness, some honorable purpose, even if it is just the sun shining on a flower, is a day to thank ones parents and grandparents for giving life to us and to appreciate whatever God or High Ideal one believes in.

Love, ant
