just diagnosed with LC...help
I was just diagnosed today with LC and the doctor wants me to take Endocort. The doctor hasn't suggested any diet changes whatsoever except to stay gluten free as I have been Celiac for 22 years. Should I go with the medicine or try dietary changes first?

It depends on whether or not you want to take a corticosteroid. It will mask your symptoms while the diet heals your gut. If you want to reach remission ASAP, use a combination, and after your gut heals, you can maintain remission by diet alone.
