Ask anyone in the Netherlands about the Dutch health care system and the only thing they will do is COMPLAIN. For some I wish they could read here for a while and the would count there blessings. Of course we pay a monthly fee, and pay the first 170 euros ourselves but after that any doctor, medication, exam, treatment is 100% covered. But there is more.
Thanks to my diet, gluten, soy, egg and milk free I may deduct 2000 euros of my income where I have to pay tax on (which results in a tax refund of about 500 euro's I guess). To get this in some cases they can ask for a doctor or dietician declaration, of course my GI will never write one or my PCP, but with a dietician specialized in food-allergies, this won't be a problem.
and if that is not enough, I just found out, I will return about 300 euros government money, only because I have a chronicle disease.
I am really amazed and tax reduction [/b]and a refund due to a chronical disease. I am getting rich of CC.
Although I am staying in Jordan now, officially I am still a citizen of the Netherlands.

that is great news, not that having a condition that brings benefits is a selling point for why having MC is ok, the keypoint is to have a government/medical system acknowledge the financial impact of these conditions on our lives is awesome
it must make the decision to head back to Jordon seem all the better, everything is working out.
big hugs
