This country is going to run out of trees at this rate - down here, they're dying from the drought, and up there, too much snow is destroying them. :sigh:

Last year a tree fell through the roof a friend's house. He had to crawl under it to get to his daughter and his sons. The tree fell in the stairwell, between the two upstairs bedrooms, and no one was hurt. Blessings abound.

Barbara & others in the path of this storm - hope ya'll stay safe & warm. We had rain Wednesday night & snow Early Thursday morning from this system. We usually don't get this much snow in October, 2.5 - 3 inches. Also didn't have much wind either. Usually the snow & sometimes rain falls horizontal in the Texas panhandle!

Take care,
Brenda

Marliss, that's a scary story! A friend pulled into a parking space, after driving to work through a rough storm... and at that moment, a giant tree fell and totally crushed the car next to him. He had to crawl out through the other-side door, but was fine... as you say - blessings abound!

Wishing us all wellness and safety,

Love,
Sara

Oh, no, Barbara, not another tree! I hope you've found another place to sleep.

Well we had one person in our area killed when a tree snapped and came through the house. He was watching TV in his recliner. It was really a very bad storm.

Love, Maggie
