A storm to forget~~~~~

Post by barbaranoela »

well thankfully--after 3days of winds and no lights and no power----finally I feel as though I am alive!!!!

A tree did hit our roof but it appears to be OK----and the snow--snow and more snow drove me nutz~~~~finally got POWER today--
so Lou -- Frank--Scotty--took their shovels and proceeded to clear away the neighbors driveways----we called them the HAPPY SHOVELing Trio

Needless to say the neighbors were so very thankful------

And now to have a few more TREES taken down ------

I know that having no power --specially when the *darkness* rolled in-was a bit tricky----

well we have all recovered ---

C U all in a day or 2-----tomorrow we have a funeral to attend---tis Dan's second wife (Marilyn) and she is being buried right next to Noreen--
Being lite-hearted I am sure Noreen and Marilyn will compare notes of being married to Dan---(lou's cousin)--common sense wise he needed lessons in that--BUSINESS wise--a genius~~~~

Great to be seeing and chatting with U all----

Good nite--sleep tight and dont let them bed bugs bite!!!!!

Know exactly what you experienced with the storm Barbara. Just got everything back on Tuesday. Hang in there and sorry a funeral is something you have to do. Kudos to Lou and his friends for being great neighbors.

Love, Maggie

What a storm...I'm glad you're OK and back in the power business. Have any of you considered getting a generator? We are considering it after the power outage we had in the summer.
