GF food option...tasty!

Post by jme22 »

Hey all,

I was at my local organic market last weekend and they were having their bi-monthly tastings. I met the owner of "One Dish Cuisine" who specializes in GF/SF/CF food. Although most of the places you can find her food are in the Baltimore/DC corridor she offers direct orders as well. I tried some of her food and it was quite good for prepackaged food. DH can't wait to try the "rye" bread I purchased!

The owner was so interesting. Diagnosed with Celiac back in the 80's and was forced to come up with foods she could eat, as there were no GF options at the grocery store at that time. Now she has a thriving business that stemmed from that diagnosis.

You can find her food in health food markets as well as some local restaurants in the DC/Baltimore area. If you take a look at her Facebook page you'll see the list of dishes that are available.

Just wanted to pass along her info as she "walks the walk and talks the talk" when it comes to special diets.

Here's her site:

Best to all,

Julie

Hi Julie,

Thanks for the tip, I may drive over from Delmarva when I'm in the area as my mother is also GF. Brandy
