New Study Reveals Shocking Diet Trends

Post by tex »

Hi All,

I'm sure you will be as shocked as I was to read the results of this study. Believe it or not, the researchers concluded that the foods that people eat are largely determined by such factors as race, age, and where they live. Say what?

Why on earth did these jokers waste all that time, and good money, (to say nothing of wasting the time of the survey participants), to prove what no one in their right mind would question, in the first place. Obviously, these researchers have too much time and money on their hands, and they need a real job. Also, I found their definition of a "healthy" diet to be somewhat pathetic, (at least the last part of it):
A "healthy" diet was mostly made up of fruits, veggies and grains.
The only word they left off in that description was "whole" in front of the word "grains".

With researchers like this on the job, we can rest easy, knowing that our future health is in good hands.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Tex that was disheartening to say the least...is that the best that study group could come up with??? I believe that stating drinking gasoline (petrol) could be hazardous to your health would have been more meaningful.

There is the old saying that Phd stands for Piled Higher & Deeper...in this case I believe that is true.

Oh well your tax dollars at work.
