Juice Plus+

Any one know about the Juice Plus+ capsules? Seems like when I first heard about them, I had a negative reaction. They were at home expo today and I will read the new literature which supposedly includes some studies.

I took it for years. I'm not currently as I have specific supplements I'm taking instead. I do recall that a couple of celiac friends of mine reacted to it even though Juice Plus told them they were gluten free. As I recall, they suspected the capsules that were used perhaps gave them the issues. That was quite a while ago......it may have changed.

I haven't looked at the studies from the brochure they gave me, yet. Thanks for the heads up on the reactions of your friends.

Here's what my LEAP dietician said: "I don't recommend it. I looked in it to and they could never give me specifics."

Joan,
My acupuncturist sells them, but does not push at all. I thought about it, but then decided to just continue taking the vitamins and supplements I'm doing well with.

Let us know if you find out more information and take them.

I took them for a period of time and the lady I worked with, I think her name is Alicia Rocco, was wondeful. I don't know if they helped any since I was still eating soy, dairy, and other foods I shouldn't have been.
