No Barrett's!

Post by Lesley »

So relieved! My doc didn't think to let me know until I emailed him.

He also didn't answer my questions about the hernia or the esophagitis. What can I say?

Great news Lesley and it just seems like it is time for doctor's to respond to us and we not always having to follow-up with them. Same thing on an ultrasound I had for cysts. I had to call to get the results which were negative. Since they were negative they felt they didn't have to call me. Go figure!

Love, Maggie

Lesley,
Great news! Now time for a new doctor. There are good ones out there. The one I have answers emails within 24 hours, but usually much sooner than that. You don't deserve to be treated that way.

Great News, Lesley! :yahoo:

Sorry to hear how you found out about it. I seem to get my results the same way

Now... you need to get to feeling better.

So glad to hear that, Lesley!

I agree about getting a new doc if you can - I am very happy I made the move away from my previous GI. My PCP is actually way better than my GI was. You can probably do better than the one you have.

Again, so glad to hear your good news!

That implies that they think that patients are only interested in bad news. How dumb is that?

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Wow, I don't have any of my doctors' email addys. You sure are lucky; maybe I need new docs too!

One thing about docs not telling you your results: it could mean that they were lost on the doc's desk or he never got the results from the lab or the pathologist. It happened to my husband a few years ago and it's wasn't the greatest of news either. He's OK, knock on wood, but no news sure isn't always good news.
