Can't get this flare under control

Post by Lesley »

No watery D, just my usual, but so hard to bear when it goes on and on and on....

I am still eating the same few foods, but it's not getting any better. I wish I could find my key foods.

Scared to go for a walk!

The procedure may have triggered some mast cell degranulation which could have boosted the inflammation level. Surely it will recede pretty soon - it's overdue, (as I'm sure you've noticed).

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

 Yeah I have indeed!

Glad I didn't go for a walk. It would have been a disaster!

Hi Lesley,
I feel you. I can imagine how frustrated you must feel. You are overdue a gut-ease day in your future. You so deserve it! :iagree:

Thanks Cory. I feel like it's one step forward and 4-5 steps back.

BTW - you must have been terrified when you saw all that blood. I hope it doesn't come back!
