Successful business trip with a little help

I totally love the Hampton Inn! I was called down to Greenville SC for business on the 27th of December for 3 weeks. When I found out how long I was going to be away, I must admit I panicked. How can I eat at restaurants for that long and not avoid any type of cross contamination. I'm doomed! Or so I thought. Well, I spoke with the hotel management about my predicament and they ended up giving me a suite at no extra charge that has a big refrigerator and larger microwave. And on top of that, they make a special breakfast for me every morning that is gluten free. They even save all of the ingredient labels for me to read. Thank god I can tolerate eggs and veggies! And the best thing of all, ta-da!!!! Norman visited me for the first time in two years! I think the combination of not worrying about my food combined with the extra sleep I've been able to get has just helped me immensely. I'm loving the southern hospitality!

Whoo, hoo! Terrific news! And Norman visited you!

I didn't realize that Hampton Inns were so accommodating. I stayed at one recently and they did bring in a refrigerator for me, which was nice. I'm glad you've found a winner!

Call me an eternal optimist, but I really think more restaurants/hotels are getting the message....!
