I suffer from very bad seasonal allergies and here in the Midwest they are in full swing. So I'm just wondering what my safest and best options are this year?
I currently have the Walmart brand "Equate : Non Drowsy Allergy Relief" which is a 10mg Loratadine tablet that is to be taken once a day. The inactive ingredients are listed as lactose monohydrate, magnesium, strearate, povidone & pregelatinzed starch. From the info I was able to find online, gluten is not present in this medicine but I want to be 100% sure before I take it.
I've taken Zyrtec in the past which is the active ingredient Certirizine, so that is another option I'd like to know if its safe...
Benadryl works for me to relieve allergies but it makes me drowsy and I can't work and take care of my 5 year old while being so sleepy
And lastly (sorry so many questions) I'd like to know if Nasonex is safe to take as well.
If anyone has any advice on how to manage allergies with having MC I'd greatly appreciate it!
(I'd like to note that gluten is the only thing currently restricted in my diet)
