We're off to a friends place tonight to watch the hockey game. Cribbage to follow. The gals beat the guys last time - hopefully we're as lucky tonight (those guys DO tend to brag when they win!).

I got "malled" today and finished most of my Christmas shopping. We're only buying for the nieces and nephews this year. We're BAD consumers .

Tomorrow (on a much sadder note) we're attending a funeral to be with a very close friend - her son committed suicide last weekend. She found him in the woods behind her house on Saturday - what a shock! He had been trying to get help from the "system" but to no avail.

One of her hospital stays---the docs. got hold of the manager and the team sent books--autograph pics.---shirt---etc.
