It is good to be home again. There really is no place like home, even though we miss the family over there terribly. Saw my doctor Friday & she says that I should go over every 6 months, it is so good for me. New Zealand is a very beautiful country. Very mountainous, often right down to the sea. The drive up to Picton is pretty spectacular, mostly beside the sea all the way. The railway runs along beside it as well. There is snow on the alps just about all year round & they make a spectacular backdrop.
This church was in Picton & I thought it cute.

Yes Barb, Balan is a doctor, an anaethetist, or will be when he does his final exam & becomes a consultant in about a years time. He works very hard & is a very dedicated doctor. An extremely kind & concerned man as well. He was awarded anaethetic registrar of the year at a dinner in Dunedin before they left in December. Received a standing ovation. He is very highly regarded in every hospital he has worked because of his dedication to his work. Apparently he never gets ruffled or impatient, no matter what the situation. His boss asked Judy if he was as cool as that at home too. She said yes, but she can tell if he is anoyed about something.
