luve Columbo----and boy did she use that when the clues didnt match the case!!!


PS. and that little thingy that was causing the squealing of the water --isnt the problemO----today we had our melodious chorus singing again---so we need a new toilet!!!

I'm glad you're finding that emoticon useful.

Strange noises in machinery or plumbing, (or whatever), can be really tough to track down, sometimes.

I used to know an "old school" Chevrolet mechanic, who worked at a dealership in the small town where I went to school, when I was growing up. Whenever someone would bring back a new car, complaining about some vague noise, or rattle, that he couldn't find, after checking it out, he'd tell them, "They all do that.", and that would usually satisfy them.
