well they got here and I ran out to see Kait---and Galahad U R right---Kait is one tough gal---there she is sitting in the back---with this gadget attached to her left side -below shoulder area--sutured to soft area before chest starts---with wires running up the left side of head and attached under skin to nerves (my description)-- I figured she would be lying down but there she sat--a wee drawn--CROCHETING an afghan!!!
Can U believe this !!!

She cannot comb that side of her hair---must be careful cus if one wire comes out--call DR>!!

This will be a trick and a 1/2--sleeping and all but she will get thru it--

If pain is lowered even 50%--they will be happy and then --as I said before---back next week to implant the gadget under the skin and so forth!!! Plus there has to be no side effects to hinder this process---
