A Sponge Bob Square Pants sticker! I got that for being such a good patient and guiding the nurse thru my needle stick for the contrast used in my test! I have rolling and bursting veins and I told her how it works to get the job done! She said that she would have had to stick me numerous times if I hadn't led her thru the "tricks". LOL
I will find out the results on Wednesday of next week - here's to hoping that I don't have more kidney stones or a more serious problem. Blood in the urine is not normal so something is going on. I had blood work too.
Sooooooo glad it's Friday - I have had one heck of a bad week so I'm looking forward to getting the house back in order, cleaned and the laundry done. Sad isn't it when I'm looking forward to work! Hahahahahahha. Better at home than at the office though.
Love,
Mars
"Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so, let us all be thankful." -- Buddha
Congrats on the Sponge Bob Square Pants sticker! I've never been given a durn thing by a doctor or nurse, excepts bruises and pain. I've even tipped 'em off that they should use my left arm for drawing blood, because only the best of the best can find the vein in my right arm, but still, nothing. LOL.
I hope the results from the tests will be the lesser of all the possible evil outcomes. <sigh>
I have to agree that it's a heck of a note when you're looking forward to a weekend of work, but I can certainly see how that might be possible, after a power outage of that duration.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
Wow! I am impressed. The only thing I ever got as a patient was nothing. But Congrats to You.
I hear ya about the hard week. Rest and take it easy and let us know what's up.
Love oma
May I be more compassionate and loving than yeterday*and be able to spot the idiots in advance
Hope your test come back with good news. I've had 2 kidney stones removed within a month of each other. OMG! I really hope it's something else.
Your deserve a break from all the testing, poking and prodding.
It's truly great to hear that the nurse drawing your labs listened. Soooo many times you try to tell them something because you've had so many labs that you know what works and what doesn't yet the nurses and tech's seem to think your crazy. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
It's times when they get sooooo uppity that you want to grab the needle and truly show them how you can use.
Love and God Bless:
