There house is awesome and they own megga property there---I couldnt even describe the place cus U just couldnt imagine it---
Carmen ALLOWED me to help on Turkey Day
gettiing taters ready and all the simple stuff---she knows me and the kitchen dont get along--we had a great Turkey Day---Her kids are terrific and her grandson tickles the ivorys like U wouldnt believe--and his body just flows with the music--
We then left on Friday,for Deb's which was another 1,000 miles and arrived in CO. ON sunday-stayed for a week---got sick with severe broncial (spelling) went to Boulder Critical--(which we call in NY--Doc. in the box) and got the most terrific care ever---Zpack---cough meds with codine which added more plugged up poop and hacked away the whole week there---but seeing Deb was great---we did manage to do some shopping---and daddy did all the honey-do-things-
Deb has taken voice lessons since being in Cali. but we really never heard her sing alone----WELL--every tuesday they have a group that meets at her house and with a music instructor who gets them ready for any small appearances they make--and we finally heard our Deb sing--WOW---the most beautiful soprano voice that just thrilled me and Lou--When she visitied at home is was a hum or 2 and thats all we ever heard--The group go to senior homes--around the holidays--
We did have a minor snow storm and it was just beautiful--specially with the snow on all the trees---
WE arrived here on the 7th--totally wiped out and I felt like I was in lala land---
Did some food shopping before we hit the apartment--got in and I slept from 7pm Sunday to 7 am Monday when Doug popped over--Well --I have to brag--Doug is a cutie pie but in a turn of 2 years here stood a most handsome matured son standing in front of me--if that makes sense!!!!
So the trip went very smooth--other than the other years when we had the guy in the next room beating up his gal and the cops had to come----and remember when Lou told me to watch the hose filling the car--but dont touch--which i didnt and the damn thing flipped outta the nozzle of the car and gas was spewing all over
REMEMBER---All in all was an interesting trip --good roads and purrfect weather---
So now I am here again---
I was told that Lynn and the girls--along with Deb were going to get here to AZ. for a surprise family get together--but due to Kait's issue she wont be coming but Deb will be here for a week--
So thats my trip----OH--also got our mail and in it was cards from our GP saying--call me about your lipids---dratz --I warned him that I knew I would be *off* cus my eating habits have gone amuck--ya know like eating all the goodies in hopes of tasting something!!!
OH well~~~~~~~~~
