She is still on pain med's and topical nerve block to enable her to walk on the leg, but she is a least using it. I haven't given up on her yet, she is a spry 25 year old, and was my first barrel horse, so we will do whatever we have to to try and her comfortable. Today is the first day that I'm letting her out with the other horses to be in the pasture, so I'll be on edge all day, worrying about her..

Thanks for the kind thoughts about our mare, she is still having to stay on pain med's, but able to get around and be out with the other horses if I watch her like a hawk to make sure she doesn't get down and can't get back up. We are hoping that we can keep her pain free and happy for as long as possible...nothing like horse hospice to keep you busy....
