My operation today

Post by Liz »

I had a phone call Friday afternoon from my surgeon’s secretary asking me if I would like to have my operation on my knee brought forward to today, Monday here in Australia. . After thinking about it for a nanosecond I said yes. It will be good to get it over & done with. Just have to get the back fixed now & I will be like brand new.

Liz,

I hope the surgery goes smoothly, and your knee comes out of it as good as new.

Best of luck to you. I know it will take quite a while to heal, but I hope it heals as quickly as possible.

Thanks Wayne,

All going well I should be home tonight. This keyhole surgery makes a huge difference in time spent in hospital & recovery time. Although after the last episode I don't think I would consent to it on my bowel or other interior parts again.

Love

Good luck, Liz. It's probably better to get it done quickly so that you don't have time to worry about it. I hope you have a rapid recovery.

Liz,

That sounds promising. I didn't even realize that option was available for knee surgery. Everyone I've known who had knee surgery over here, seemed to take forever to recover.

Please let us know how it goes, as soon as you feel up to it.

Love,
Wayne

You will be in my thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery.
Things will be fine and you'll be good as new once they repair your knee. I know it will be painful for awhile as you recover but my cousin her in the U.S. just had a hip replacement surgery about 6 months ago and she is doing so much better and getting around very well. She will be having her other hip replacement in April or May.
So my friend, Love and God Bless:

HI Liz,

Sure hope all went well and that you will be able to move about pain free real soon and dance a jig or too.
