Any Problems with Glutina French Toast?

Post by Gloria »

I was elated when I found the Glutina French Toast while visiting my DD in Utah. It was egg-free and free of all my other intolerances. I had explosive D by early afternoon on the first day I ate it. I attributed the D to the new boullion cube product I used the day before.

I ate the french toast again this morning and by early afternoon, I had D again. I had a perfect Norman before breakfast.

When I checked the package, I noticed it said "May contain traces of soy." I'm wondering if I got a batch with soy in it.

Has anyone else used this product and had a problem? I didn't have a problem eating Ian's french toast.

Could be soy...I have not found any of their products around here that didn't have soy in them. Have you tried the Namaste brand mixes? They are great, and have no scary things in them...

I don't think Namaste makes a French toast mix, does it? I'm able to get Ian's French Toast at Whole Foods, so I think I'll just stick with it.

Is Rick able to eat eggs or do you make the Namaste products with egg replacer?

Hi Gloria,

If I were you, I'd just stick with what works. I'll have to check out the Ian's. I remember that you said even the soy in your supplements was too much, so I'll bet if there's a trace of soy in there, you'll react to it. I have been avoiding things that say "May contain..." I have to thank you, too, for posting all your intolerances on the other thread. That's been very helpful to me.

Love,
