Happy Easter everyone. I wish I could send all of you an Easter treat, however it would be impossible not only logistically but dietetically as well But I have something for you all anyhow, this is a short video of street musicians around the world playing and singing the song
"stand by me". New technology has allowed them to seamlessly blend them all together. Its truely a heartwarming rendition.
Peace,
Delta, that link seems especially appropriate for those of us on this board, as we are spread out all over the world and really do attempt to "stand by" each other.

Here is one more. Israel Kamakawiwo'ole was a very special soul, I fell in love with the Hawaiin culture on my lengthy stays there during my Navy days. Iz as he is known to his loyal fans did a medly of "somewhere over the rainbow/what a wonderful world". He passed away I believe from a heart attack but he left behind one of the most beautiful songs ever sung, in a very unique style. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ltAGuuru7Q
I wish everyone a blessed Easter, we're heading for the coast for a week.
delta...i love that song too...what a nice voice he has...i have the eva cassidy version which makes me cry... because this was the song i used for my mums funeral..and i always think of my mum when i hear that song....i love her voice though...
ps enjoy your trip...
She's my favorite too, for that song. Her version of Somewhere Over The Rainbow is one of my all-time favorite songs.
