had my GI visit-luve my GP

Post by barbaranoela »

When Dr, Kozin walked in he said ---*ok where is the list? and I whipped it out---(the list that is--hehehe)

Everything got answered but he put me on ZINC------and I stupidly threw out the form that comes with meds.-

I know from what we discussed he did say I could be low in Zinc---but I figured he would wait till the results came in-- :whatever:
and to my surprise I am still here

I am one big chicken when it comes to taking new meds---but he did say--*dont worry it isnt going to upset U in any manner!

Had my thyroid scanned again----waiting to hear about this----
So far I am still alive and kicking---

Till later---hope *wellness* is continuing to follow all who have been looking for it---for a long time!!!

Barbara,

Remember back in late 2007, when you first mentioned that you had lost your sense of taste and smell? The first thing that I suggested was a zinc supplement, because a zinc deficiency can cause those symptoms. I still think that if you use a zinc supplement for a while, you just might get your senses of taste and smell back again. :xfingers:

I hope the thyroid scan results come back fine, also.

Hiya Sis!

Just a reminder that zinc can cause diarrhea. Of course, if you really need the zinc, then go for it!!

Love,

Hmmm. Is that why I seem to have a problem every time I use Coldeeze?

Hope it works and you then might be able to smell and taste. That would be wonderful.

Love, Maggie

Gloria,

That's why I had to stop taking Coldeeze. You and I are so much alike - even the Pepto Bismol intolerance!

Polly

Interesting, Polly. I think I may have finally figured out most of my intolerances.

We share gluten, dairy, soy, and eggs. I tolerate yeast in bread, but I'm careful to only eat it 1-2 times a week with 3 days in between. I'm relieved that we don't share the chocolate intolerance. I think corn is OK, but I don't overdo it. I may be intolerant to carrageenan. I'm still testing the coconut yogurt which contains it.

I know that the Paleo diet doesn't include legumes and you don't eat them. But do you know if you reacted to them? If so, that would be an additional intolerance that we share.
