Still Hanging In There

Post by JoAnn »

Hi Everyone, I have a little time off from school so I thought I would check in. I'm still taking the full dose of entocort and doing great along with diet. I'm planning on taking the full dose through August and then I'll try tapering. I wish I had more time to post. I check in often and it's so good to know that all of you are still here. I know I would still be in a world of confusion and pain if it wasn't for all your great advice and experience. Even though I don't post as often as I would like, please know you are all loved and appreciated by me. I credit all of you for giving me back my quality of life. Have a great day, JoAnn

JoAnn,
I'm so glad to read that you are doing great. I think we all are reluctant to take Entocort initially, but once we take it and see how great it controls this condition, we become great fans. Of course, it also helps to follow the diet and it sounds like you are doing fine with it.

Enjoy your break!

Gloria

Hi Barbara and Gloria, it's nice to meet you Barbara. I've read many of your posts and feel like I know you. Gloria, you have been such a great cheerleader for me and I try to follow your example. I feel like you've blazed the trail that I need to follow. You're right, I was afraid to try entocort, but it has been fantastic. I feel like I'm in a secure place with it, and I'm apprehensive about tapering off. I have most of your intolerances so I appreciate all you share and have learned so much from you. Thanks for the info about egg in baked products. I hope that's why I don't react to the donuts. Both of you have a great day and thanks again, JoAnn
