Just Checking In To Let All Know I'm Doing Fine

Post by jodibelle352 »

Hi All!

It has been a very busy week and a half.

Bailey graduated from Pre-School last thursday. What an awesome day and experience we had. It doesn't seem possible that she is already 5 and will be starting Kindergarten in the Fall. How time fly's by when one day she's just a Wee One and now she's already to start regular school in the Fall.

This week has been very busy because it's S.S. for David and we do all our monthly buying and besides that David has scheduled Dr's apts. which has made things quite hectic at best.

On the weekend I've worked my 'behind' off to finishing an ornament order and only have 4 more to finish which I will do today and tomorrow so I can get them shipped out by Sat., Mon. at the latest. 32 ornaments are being shipped to California to be used by my brother-in-law and sister-in-law for the Baptist Church they belong to at Christmas. I've put many hours of work into getting the covers crocheted and then decorating. It took me 18 hours just to make the handmade bows for each of these ornaments. The tree for their church will be decorated with all my handmade ornaments. WHAT AN HONOR! I'm truly excited to think that they loved my work so much that they chose me to design and make the ornaments for the tree at their church.

Will hopefully beable to be on the boards a little more after I finish this project and get them shipped out.

Love you all and will be back on shortly.

Love and God Bless:
Jodi

Jodi,

That's quite a project. Congratulations on getting it done, (I know you're not finished yet, but I have no doubt that you soon will be). No wonder you've been absent a lot, lately.

Love,
Tex

That is quite an honor. They must think your work is excellent. You also must have a lot of patience to work on something for such a long time. Kudos to you!

Morning Jodi,

That must have taken a lot of patience and perserverence but I am sure they are gorgeous. Your crocheting is beautiful and luckily I can look at it each day under my Tiffany lamp.

What an honor for you and post pictures when the tree gets done.

Love, Maggie
