Hello All,
I have a very good friend that is insisting that I give Apple Cider Vinegar a try for CC and that it will help almost anything wrong with you. Have read a bit about it and the fiber factor is scaring me off. It seems it would be good to moderate my heart rate and possibly to aid in the stopping of leg cramps I seem to get. However, the fiber part is not my cup of tea.
Tex, anyone do you have any insight on this?
Thanks and Love, Maggie

Hi Maggie,
You caught me by surprise there, because I didn't realize that apple cider vinegar even contained any significant amount of fiber. So I looked it up. It turns out that I was right, though - the fiber in apple cider vinegar is in the form of pectin, of course, but there is so little pectin in there, that you can disregard any effects from it.
If you want to read more about it, Dr. Mercola has a long article about using apple cider vinegar, that you may find interesting and useful.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
